HI, I'M YVONNE
I’m an entrepreneur, creative at heart, single mother of two and a glass-half-full kinda lady who loves a good challenge.
But if there’s anything I really wish you’d know about me, it’s that I’m a big believer in doing things your own way. And of course, let’s keep it real — I do know I can be annoyingly stubborn.

But I really do believe that when you enjoy what you’re doing and keep it close to heart, you’ll be able to handle just about anything life throws at you. That mindset helped me try a lot of things, from interior architect and corporate coach to jewellery maker, baby-shoe maker and fashion designer, and I loved it.
Of course, it wasn’t all rainbows and confetti. Because even though I absolutely love running a business, there were also lots of moments where I really struggled with myself as an entrepreneur. For example, I knew I had to prioritize better, but I could never stick to any plan because I’m more of a go-with-the-flow type. Same with my goals. I used to put so much effort into fine-tuning them, only to forget them as soon as something new popped up — and every time, I’d think, “Why can’t I just do this like everyone else?”

When I decided to become a business coach, I got a bit lost. I mean, I knew how to make a business successful — but now I also had to explain to other entrepreneurs how to do the same. And being a go-with-the-flow type, I wasn’t even sure I had a way of working. Well, it turns out I did. And the more I looked into it, the more I could see patterns in the way I worked — what made things flow easily and what made me want to run for the hills.

This was so much more interesting than wanting to explain how I once made my business successful (I mean, who cares anyway, huh?). Now that I understood what works for me and what doesn’t, I could also see that what I’d been doing all this time was what I thought everyone else was doing — that that was the way it was supposed to be. But what if that way just doesn’t work for me?
And that’s the thing: there’s no one-size-fits-all way to run a business. We all have our own way of working — you just need to figure out which one’s yours. That’s what I do now as a business coach. I help others understand what works for them (and what doesn’t) and build their business around that. And you know what, it brings me back to my core belief of doing things your own way. I’ve now written my own work method about it for my coaching business, and I’m also setting up a community for entrepreneurs who like to dance to the beat of their own drum as well.

Oh, and I’m also working on a project where people will share the real stories behind their business — but I’ll tell you more about that once it’s more tangible.

Good to have you here! 🌷
RANDOM FACTS YOU MIGHT WANNA KNOW
I’m smaller in person :) That’s often the first thing people say to me when they meet me IRL, so in case we’ll ever meet — here’s a heads-up!

I love French cheese, milk chocolate with almonds, and nachos (of course with lots of cheese and sour cream on top), but I recently found out I’m lactose intolerant.

I didn’t get my driver’s license until I was 38. When I finally started lessons, I thought I’d have a car within six months — but it ended up taking me two frickin’ years!

I love plants so much. I want my house and garden filled with flowers and greens but I just can’t seem to keep them alive.
