MyTurn Method

SIMPLIFY YOUR BUSINESS. FOCUS ON WHAT WORKS

Let’s talk about the MyTurn Method: 👇🏽

I LOVED MY BUSINESS — BUT I MADE ONE CRUCIAL MISTAKE THAT COST ME EVERYTHING: MY BUSINESS, MY SUCCESS, MY PEACE OF MIND AND THE ENTIRE SYSTEM I THOUGHT WAS WORKING SO WELL FOR ME.

I’ve been building businesses since 2008. I love it. But although I always started full of excitement and ideas, I often ended up feeling suffocated by the workload and the never-ending to-do list. When I closed down my last business in 2023 — the one I really loved — I knew it was time for a reality check. Because I had given her my all... and still failed.

And you know what? That turned out to be exactly the problem. I gave my business everything it needed — and made a lot of sacrifices to make that happen. I kept thinking: this is just for now. Things will get easier once the business is on track.

But the bigger it grew, the faster I had to run. Until I couldn’t keep up anymore.

On paper, I did everything right. But here’s the thing: most business strategies are built around what the business needs or what the customer wants. But us — the entrepreneurs? The ones doing the heavy lifting? We’re hardly ever part of the picture. And when you think about it… how does that even make sense?

It was definitely time to turn the tables.

So I flipped it.

The MyTurn Method

Instead of always coming last, I’m now convinced the entrepreneur should come first.
Who else but you should be behind the wheel? In the driver’s seat? You’re the one keeping the whole show running — so you better be the one calling the shots.

And everything that happens in your business should revolve around you.
Your needs and wants become the framework for how you handle your business goals and your customers’ needs. Every action, every decision gets checked: Does this actually work for me?

Now you might think this is crazy — and totally against everything we know in biz land. Because we’re always taught to serve the customer. And yes, your customers are the holy grail. And they do deserve the best. But that also means you have to be at your best. You can’t serve anyone when you’re running on empty. So if you’re the one doing the heavy lifting, make sure your business works for you — not the other way around.
